Use Policy

This Use Policy applies to InstaPV API account holders, API keys, integrations, and people who use information returned by the service. It works together with the Terms of Service.

Permitted use

Use the API for lawful development or business purposes involving content the configured provider can publicly access. Respect privacy, intellectual-property, publicity, and other rights. Keep your API key private, follow your plan limits, and apply appropriate retention and deletion practices to data you receive.

Prohibited activity

• Trying to access private profiles, private media, or information you are not authorized to access.
• Using the service to stalk, harass, threaten, discriminate against, or conduct unauthorized surveillance of a person.
• Sending spam, phishing, malware, deceptive communications, or facilitating fraud.
• Bypassing authentication, provider restrictions, rate limits, account limits, or security controls; rotating accounts or keys to evade enforcement; or disrupting the service.
• Submitting passwords, Instagram session cookies, full payment-card details, or unrelated sensitive information as API parameters or support messages.
• Using, storing, displaying, selling, or redistributing returned data in a way that violates law, third-party rights, or applicable platform/provider terms.

Enforcement and questions

We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict keys or accounts when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or service integrity. If you believe an enforcement action was mistaken, contact us through the Contact Us page.
